2 large sweet potatoes
½ stick butter
½ cup milk
½ cup brown sugar
mini marshmallows or pecan/graham cracker/butter topping
Potato masher or hand mixer
Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake sweet potatoes in the oven at 350°F or 45 minutes or until fork-tender. Remove potato peel. Place sweet potatoes, butter, milk, and sugar in a baking dish and mash with a potato masher or use a hand mixer until thoroughly combined and there are no lumps. Top with mini marshmallows, or chopped pecans and crumbled graham crackers then drizzle with melted butter. Cook until marshmallows are toasted, or pecan and graham cracker topping is brown.
