Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients:
1 stick butter
1 cup heavy cream
2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper

Equipment needed:

Saucepan

Directions:
Warm the butter and cream in a saucepan. Add the Parmesan and stir until melted. Season with salt and pepper.

Suggestions:

  • Serve with fettuccini.
  • Add spaghetti, sauté onions and mushrooms, grilled chicken and steamed broccoli or spinach for Chicken Tetrazzini.
  • Trying baking it. Place sauce and cooked pasta in a casserole dish and top with mozzarella cheese and place in oven until cheese is golden.
