Ingredients:
4 large fresh tomatoes
or 14.5 oz. canned tomatoes, diced or crushed
½ large onion
1 green bell pepper
1 jalapeño (optional)
2 tablespoons cilantro
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
Directions:
Finely chop tomatoes, onion, green bell pepper, jalapeno, and cilantro. Place chopped vegetables into a serving bowl. Squeeze the juice of half a lime over vegetables. Stir until combined. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve with tortillas chips or as a condiment on burritos, nachos, quesadillas, or tacos.
